Complaints Procedure

Prior to the Event

If you have a complaint that you wish to submit, please do so by emailing us at

Please supply a reasonable level of detail to allow us to make a reasonable first assessment and contact details if we need to discuss further. We will endeavor to respond as quickly as possible, but please keep in mind that we are volunteers with day jobs. 

If you are submitting a complaint concerning harassment, the complaint much be from a person who has either experienced harassment, from a person who is contacting us with the direct consent of the harassed party or a witness of harassment. The complaint must pertain to something directly connected to #DataWeekender.

On the day of an event

All tracks will have at least two moderators per channel. You can directly message them via the chat channel. 

You may also email us at, which will be actively monitored on the day. Please supply contact details so we can respond to you directly.
